Making What You Want To Do Top Five List

Whether it is the loss of a job, friend or relationship, anxiety over the future or just a summer full of crummy circumstances, we have all faced some pretty rough times in our lives. While it is easy (and far more common) to complain about all of the ways these situations we face bring us down, it is more beneficial (I think) to look at the ways in which they didn’t break you.

So, here is what I want all of you to do. Think about the circumstance where your spirit cracked a bit and focus on the lessons you learned and the steps you took that brought you into a better place. Write them down. It doesn’t have to be here (though it would be great so we can all learn from one another).

Keep the list nearby and take a look at it every now and then when something happens and you feel like you won’t make it out alive.

Here are my example 5 Things:

  1. I learned we can change our mind at anytime.
  2. I learned we are in control of our world.
  3. I learned that we need to love ourselves first.
  4. I learned that what we do for another we do for ourselves.
  5. I learned that only love is real.
