Living Planning: Home Health Care Insurance

There are various insurance policies that help pay for or totally cover the costs of home health care. Consumers are reminded to be very cautious when shopping, comparing and buying home health care insurance policies because coverage is often limited. Living Healthy Tips : Daily Personal Health Improvement

Keep your body and mind in great shape by following a few basic steps each day to protect health and prevent illness.

If you would like to enjoy better health and a stronger body, there are several things you can do each day that will take little time but render great results. Make minor changes like these to improve your quality of life without coming to depend exclusively on a doctor or medication.

1. Drink pure water. Whether you drink water from a well or the city pipeline, find out whether it is safe and wholesome. The county health department can issue a simple test that will find out if your water contains contaminants like mercury or lead, pollution from local industry, runoff from farmlands, or bacteria and viruses that can cause illness. Even if your water contains only a small amount of these things, over time they can build up in your body to create health problems. If your water is harmful, get a home faucet purifier (about $16.99) that will purify drinking and cooking water for about a month or two, depending on the number of people using it.

Health Tips: Healing Teas Selection for Healthy Living

How To Select Healing Teas for Healthy Living

Welcome to the world of healing teas. Regular tea, a refreshing stimulant, only two calories per cup, is the world’s most popular non-alcoholic healthy drink. Tea glorifies us with many different flavors, scents and colours; the colours are determined by the length of exposure to oxidation.

A great amount of tea is produced in Asia, while it is actually grown in India, Sri Lanka, China, Japan, and Indonesia. Tea is a member of the camellia sinensis family. The best quality teas are grown in the high altitudes and the finest leaves are plucked from the youngest shoots and unopened leaf buds. These buds contain the highest levels of phenols, enzymes and caffeine.

The manner in which fresh tea leaves are processed includes the length of time the leaves are exposed to the oxidation process; it is that which will determine the colour and the flavor of the tea.
