Natural Food
In actual facts, these stimulants can cause harm to the body and may lead to a loss of energy and emotional symptoms such as depression, headaches and illnesses. These stimulants are accumulated in our body as toxins.

There are basically 2 kinds of toxins - Exogenous and Endogenous. Exogenous toxins come from external sources for instances - car fumes, tobacco smoke, air and factory pollution, etc. Endogenous toxins derive from viral or bacterial infection. Besides this 2 toxins, our body also creates its own toxins known as Autogenous toxins.

With detoxification, our body and organs can eliminate these harmful substances. However there is a limit to how much our body can detoxify by itself. With constant absorption of toxins, even the strongest body would not be able to eliminate or reduce these toxins. And with the accumulation of these toxins, these toxins would be the causes of diseases and illnesses.

How Stress Affects Your Health

May 8, 2008

It’s essential to understand the effects that of stress on various areas of your life. It doesn’t only your mental well-being-it can also cause physical symptoms as well. Fortunately there are ways to eliminate the effects of stress and improve your quality of life.

Common Physical Effects of Stress

Most people are familiar with the common effects of stress such as tension headaches, stomach ulcers, and acne, but many people don’t realize the effects stress can have on your health in the long-term. For instance, did you know that stress can cause asthma symptoms? I was unaware of this effect until I was treated for a recurring case of bronchitis that also caused wheezing. At the time I was working full-time, going to college full-time, raising three kids including a problematic teenager, and dealing with the effects of a dead marriage. It took a three week trip away from everything to help with the stress and get me back on track without the inhaler the doctor had prescribed.

Importance of Healthy Lifestyle

May 7, 2008

The way of leading life changes over time with advent of civilization and rapid technical progress. Lifestyle changes are far too rapid and the human body at times fails to keep pace with rapid living changes. The result is rather alarming and the number of lifestyle related diseases is reaching alarming proportions.

High blood cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure, depression and obesity are products of rapid lifestyle changes. A sedentary lifestyle, switching away from traditional diets and hooking more towards fast food and constant work pressure is churning up new diseases which otherwise could have been avoided. Therefore, what is required is a carefully planned healthy lifestyle. Exercises, healthy diet and a positive attitude towards life can work wonders. Most of the lifestyle related diseases we find are interrelated. It is like a downward spiral, one leads to the other and the chain goes on. It is pertinent to break this viscous circle. The traditional diets, folk medicine and traditional physical and breathing exercises can help us a long way in our quest to lead a healthy life.

Are You In A Healthy Relationship?

May 5, 2008

First if you are in an abusive relationship it is unacceptable and you should seek help.

Simple Questions you can ask yourself:

- Are you happy?

- Are you allowed to be yourself?

- Are you having fun?

- Are you treated the way you feel you should be treated, and with that being said are you treating your partner with the same respect?

Just understand that I believe not all healthy relationship ends in marriage. Some are just the next step to another wonderful relationship. The reasons I am saying this is that not all divorces were the result of a relationship failure. I think each relationship is a way to teach you more about yourself. If you can learn something about why things went wrong and how you can carry that knowledge on with you to the next. When I started dating I meet a man I would have married in a heartbeat because one I thought he was the one I wanted, and two I thought I was madly in love with him. Hind-sight is always 20/20 and as I have grown and dated more I have learned that although it wasn’t the best relationship it wasn’t the worst.
