Why today we talk about healthy living so much and what really meaning of the living healthy lifestyle?

Living a healthy lifestyle is not only about avoiding fatty foods, cutting down on caffeine and taking up an expensive gym membership. Health is not solely about the size of your body; it’s about being happy within yourself, avoiding detrimental situations and substances and taking care of yourself as a whole. Ideally it would be a life long commitment but everyone knows that temptation is inevitable and if being healthy means being bored and deprived, then it’ll all go pear-shaped quickly.

So, what to avoid and what to embrace are key questions. Fundamentally, it should be obvious. Everything in moderation is the best way to look at it. Yes, you can enjoy the pork ribs, just not three times a week! You can party till the wee hours of the morning on Friday night and aim for more restorative activities Saturday night. Living a healthy lifestyle is about balance. You know what’s good for you but you want what feels good to you.

I know some would disagree with that last statement, but everyone does deserve to be healthy in every area of their life. We may hits some bumps along the way or we may get a few bruises, but overall you do deserve the best life possible. A Healthy Life.

Step 1: on your journey to a healthy life: Remember that your emotional health, the real you on the inside, is probably more important than the way others see you. You know, people cannot read your heart, but you know your heart. When you speak to yourself inside your head–How much is negative? and how much talk is positive? Three of the greatest words to tell yourself each day is “I LOVE YOU!”

Step 2: A healthy life begins on the inside. Now that you have the first step down, then continue on to the next step. Rid yourself of people that put you down or are negative towards you. They are not worth having as friends or acquaintances. You deserve better friends. Friends that speak the truth in love. They love you for who you are.

Most people are familiar with the common effects of stress such as tension headaches, stomach ulcers, and acne, but many people don’t realize the effects stress can have on your health in the long-term. For instance, did you know that stress can cause asthma symptoms? I was unaware of this effect until I was treated for a recurring case of bronchitis that also caused wheezing. At the time I was working full-time, going to college full-time, raising three kids including a problematic teenager, and dealing with the effects of a dead marriage. It took a three week trip away from everything to help with the stress and get me back on track without the inhaler the doctor had prescribed.

Lifestyle changes are far too rapid and the human body at times fails to keep pace with rapid living changes. The result is rather alarming and the number of lifestyle related diseases is reaching alarming proportions.

High blood cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure, depression and obesity are products of rapid lifestyle changes. A sedentary lifestyle, switching away from traditional diets and hooking more towards fast food and constant work pressure is churning up new diseases which otherwise could have been avoided. Therefore, what is required is a carefully planned healthy lifestyle. Exercises, healthy diet and a positive attitude towards life can work wonders. Most of the lifestyle related diseases we find are interrelated. It is like a downward spiral, one leads to the other and the chain goes on. It is pertinent to break this viscous circle. The traditional diets, folk medicine and traditional physical and breathing exercises can help us a long way in our quest to lead a healthy life.
