How do we go about understanding ourselves?

Are you understand yourself well?This is a very important question because if we don’t understand ourselves, how are we going to change? Do we wait for divine intervention to create our pure hearts, or do we do something proactive? If we are not sure, then why not try both ways and see which works best. We could spend some time praying for our worry and our frustrations to change, or we could spend some time working on ourselves in a proactive way. Then we could see what works best. Or maybe we could pray and work on ourselves at the same time!

It’s funny what you can get used to, especially over time. Even under the most agonizing and ridiculously insane circumstances, we will decide to continue dealing with less than undesirable situations. This problem has many faces: A dead-end job, or unsatisfying career, an abusive boss or co-worker, an unfulfilling significant other relationship, an unworthy friend, a physically unhealthy lifestyle, an unlivable income. Unfortunately these situations are quite common.

You can maximize the benefit of a biceps strength training exercise, a back strength training exercise, a chest strength training exercise, and so on, by doing them in small blocks of time every day. Although the USDA recommends at least thirty to sixty minutes each day, you don’t have to spend all of it weight training—you probably do physical activity that counts as exercise every day (such as walking up stairs).
